RIDING SCHOOL

REQUEST TO REGISTER

We understand that unexpected changes can arise, and adjustments may be necessary. While our program operates on a semester basis, riders may withdraw at any time by providing at least 30 days’ written notice (via email) on or before the 1st of the month. If riders wish to return in the future, they are welcome to join our waitlist for the next available opening. This policy helps us maintain a seamless experience for everyone while preserving the structure and quality of our program.

Because horses are outdoor animals and we are fortunate to have an excellent facility, we can operate in most weather conditions. However, in cases of extreme temperatures—above 35°C or below -10°C—riding lessons may be rescheduled or replaced with a theory class held in one of our indoor learning spaces. This ensures the safety and comfort of both our riders and horses while continuing to provide valuable learning opportunities.

We understand that occasional absences are unavoidable, and to help with this, we offer one make-up day per month, held near the end of the month. This day is specifically reserved for riders to make up missed lessons. If you’re unable to attend the scheduled make-up day, the lesson will unfortunately be forfeited. While we strive to accommodate our riders, the costs involved in preparing and caring for your horse for each scheduled lesson remain high, regardless of attendance. We appreciate your understanding as we work to maintain the quality and sustainability of our program.

In a sport that depends on the health and well-being of our horses—who, like us, aren’t always at their best—there may be times when a lesson needs to be shortened or canceled due to your horse being unfit to ride. If this happens, the first missed lesson will be eligible for a make-up session during the scheduled make-up day at the end of the month. If a second lesson is missed for the same reason, the cost of the lesson will still apply. However, if the issue persists and a third lesson is affected, we will make every effort to assign you a new horse so you can continue your progress. We appreciate your understanding and flexibility as we prioritize the care and health of our equine partners.

What if i need to exit the program suddenly?

What if the weather is too extreme to ride comfortably?

what if i can't make my lesson?

What if my horse isn't feeling up to doing my lesson?

We charge at the beginning of each month to ensure the consistent care and well-being of our horses. The overhead expenses for maintaining our equine partners are significant, including high-quality feed, veterinary care, farrier services, and top-tier equipment. This monthly income is essential to covering these costs and allowing us to provide the exceptional level of care that our horses deserve.

Why do we need to pre-pay at the beginning of the month?

Our program runs in semesters to create a structured and thoughtful experience for both riders and horses. At the start of each semester, we carefully match each rider with a horse, as building a bond and developing a relationship with their equine partner is a vital part of the learning journey. This process requires time, consistency, and commitment, and it’s important to us that our school horses have stable partnerships rather than being moved between riders. Additionally, riders are grouped based on their skill level at the beginning of the semester, allowing them to progress and grow together as a cohesive team. At the end of each semester, riders have the opportunity to adjust their horse, group, or schedule, ensuring a smooth and organized transition into the next session. This system also allows us to bring new riders off our waitlist at the same time, integrating changes efficiently for everyone involved.

Why does the program run in semesters?

All of our horses are fitted with top-quality saddles, tack, and equipment, reflecting our commitment to both rider development and equine care. We believe it’s essential for our riders to learn in saddles that support correct position and balance, which is why we’ve invested in equipment that sets them up for success. Equally important, our horses are athletes, and their comfort and well-being are at the core of our program. Providing them with the best gear is just one of the many ways we honor the care and respect they deserve.

What kind of tack/equipment is included? What do I need?

Our program is proud to offer an exceptional lineup of show-quality horses and ponies, each with extensive experience in the hunter/jumper show world. These seasoned schoolmasters have been carefully selected for their talent, temperament, and ability to inspire confidence in riders of all levels. They are not only the cornerstone of our program but also our pride and joy. We honor their remarkable skills and dedication by providing the highest standard of care, treating them as the top-tier athletes they are. These trusted partners are here to build and develop the riders of tomorrow, making every lesson an opportunity for growth and connection.
